Neil Cooks!!!

OH WOW!!! As promised for the past 5 years, Neil cooked for us. He bought a new Weber gas grill last week. I asked him if he wanted to put it to good use for the 4th and cook for the Village. To my shock he said yes. So that's how we spent Independence day. John wanted to go see fireworks so we ended up at the Bellevue fireworks show. It's not as big as the Seattle show, but it's close by and not as many people.

Rocky Vids

Back by popular demand, more videos of Rocky doing what Rocky does.

Rocky's version of football.

Tanner's Birthday

Had a barbeque at TNT's house for Tanner's birthday. Terry made some great ribs and pork tenderloin. Apparently Tanner is in his animal phase. We got him a stuff turtle from Build a Bear. He's got a shell on his back that doubles as a backpack. How sweet it is to be a kid and have nothing on your agenda except sleep, play and eat.

Since flikr keeps asking me to upgrade from a free account to a paying account, i'm going to post all my pics in my blog.

Here's a video of Tanner blowing out the candles. Apparently, he thought the cake was missing an ingredient, his spit.

My Garden

When we bought our house, John's house warming gift to us was to design our back yard. We hired someone to do the grunt work and two years later, everything has finally matured. It has come out a lot nicer than I ever hoped for. The fountain needs work. I need to custom make a waterfall instead of using the one from my old fountain. But that's a future project. Next project is to fix my dog run area.

The blue flowers are from a moss called blue star creepers. John said that we would have some flowers during the summer. But this is definately more than what we thought. Maybe it's Rocky's pee that is fertilizing it and causing it to produce more flowers.
