18 weeks and 3 days

Oh my god, it's a GIRL!!! We had our ultrasound today. Baby seems to be very healthy. Everything looks good in the ultrasound. At this point it's about 6 inches and 8 oz. Too small to really feel it kicking, although it is moving around quite a bit. When the sex was unknown, it didn't really sink in that I'll be a father soon. But now that I know, it's definately a different feeling. The sense of responsibility, parenthood, it's all sinking in right now. Daddy's gonna have a little girl.

Mom is doing fine. We are both so excited at the news. Scary to think which one of us will spoil her more. So anyone has an ideas for names?

President's Day weekend

We actually had a very pleasant 3 day weekend here in the NW. It was sunny and mid 50's the whole week. We had a walk around Greenlake on Sunday. It's about 2.8 miles around and took 75 minutes. It was just wonderful to go outside and get some fresh air. Ivy stayed at home as she still has morning sickness. We think it might be the apple juice. She had it on Sunday and felt tired all day. Then had it again for breakfast today and threw up about half and hour later.

Where's my mommy!!

I had to take Rocky to the vet early in the morning. So I brought him with us on the way to work. This video is of him after we dropped off Ivy.

17 Weeks, 3 days

Just got our 4 month checkup today. Baby is doing well. Mom still has occassional morning sickness. However, she's stopped taking the nauseau medicine. We will find out next week if we're having a boy or girl. Woohoo. Then the difficult part of name picking will come into play.

FYI, did you all know that our chinese middle name, Hing, was appointed to us by Grandpa long time ago. And the future generation's middle name has been picked as well. For our children, their middle name is Fan.

I'm kinda torn between this because I don't particularly like it. Tseng Fan xxxx just doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Not to mention, are our children's children going to follow this tradition. Anyway, just thought I'd pass this bit of knowledge along.
