Maggie gets a chair

Lately, Maggie seems to bore very easily. She doesn't like to lie down and stare at the ceiling. She actually tries to sit up on her own so that she can look around. It looks like she's doing a situp. So I tried positioning pillows and whatnot so that she can sit unassisted. At first, we tried using the feeding pillows, then we used a curled up body pillow, and finally a Bumbo chair that I got from Target that works perfectly. Her neck is actually strong enough to not need support. She sits in her Bumbo chair now when we eat instead of Ivy or myself holding her. It's such a relief to eat with both hands.

It's my birthday

The only thing I really wanted to do for my birthday was to go golfing. Of course, it rained all day. Fall is officially here. No more sun till next year. Ended up seeing Gloria for lunch and headed over to TNT for steak dinner.

My latest favorite cake, pandan leaf flavor with young coconut filling.

It's Gloria

Gloria came for a visit from Turkey. As always, she had a get together for lunch and pumpkin carving. It was fun seeing everyone and their babies. Boy how fast they grow.

Gloria's son Ozzie on his 5th bag of M and M.

SCARY!

SCARIER!!

Maggie Coos

Maggie loves to converse now. Sometimes she would rather talk to you than eat or sleep. This is just a short clip. Some nights she does this for a half hour straight.

More Maggie pics

Maggie is starting to grow very attached now to Ivy and I. Whenever we hold her she doesn't want to sleep. She just wants us to play with her. She's starting to coo at us now and it's just the cutest thing. She looks right in your eyes, smiles and coos away. I'll load up a video soon.

Here are some misc pics.

Maggie's still not used to getting a bath. She still clenches her fists.

Dad just can't resist smooching the Mags.

What's up with the hair?

See you next year

Another year and another terrible season for the Seattle Mariners. From top to bottom, the entire team is in such shambles that we most likely won't see another winning season for years to come. However, there is one bright spot, an up and coming rookie that has everyone talking.
